Based in Surrey, Magna Gun Club has approximately 25 members. The club uses the National Shooting Centre, National Rifle Association (NRA) Bisley Ranges predominantly but also has a long-standing association with British Airways shooting club and is often invited to shoot at their range.

Magna maintains a very high standard in safety and training. The club has members who are competent trainers in shooting skills and qualified NRA range officers.

Whilst enjoying the sport and camaraderie, safety always remains the primary concern when shooting. Magna has one to one training for anyone new to shooting. The training follows the NRA novice shooter training programme. Novices

are permitted to shoot only when under supervision during their initial safety and weapon handling training. To prove the quality of this training, most members are when fully trained, able and willing to act as Range Officers and take charge of the various courses of fire.

To promote shooting in the UK, Magna is looking for new members. Come along, meet the other members, see what goes on and decide whether it's for you. That's howwe all started in the sport and we understand what it's like to be new to a sport and new to a group of people. Rest assured you will receive a warm and friendly welcome.

Although strict in its policy of safe handling and correct range etiquette, Magna has always been and remains a "social" club. All members know and respect each other and enjoy each others company. 

The club carries on as always. Good natured and always ready to experience different forms of shooting . Currently the club is looking for new members and running shoots for gallery rifle, full and small bore rifles and black powder pistols. The club is shooting at the NRA ranges Bisley, MOD military ranges i.e. Norfolk and British Airways shooting range, Cranford.
