Based in Surrey, Magna Gun Club has approximately 25 members. The club uses the National Shooting Centre, National Rifle Association (NRA) Bisley Ranges predominantly but also has a long-standing association with British Airways shooting club and is often invited to shoot at their range. Magna maintains a very high standard in safety and training. The club has members who serving & retired police officers who are / were liable to carry firearms in the course of their duty, and as such are competent trainers in shooting skills.
Whilst enjoying the sport and camaraderie, safety always remains the primary concern when shooting. Magna has one to one training for any novice following the NRA novice shooter training programme. Novices are not permitted to shoot unless a competent member supervises them when shooting. To prove the quality of training, most members are able and willing to act as Range Officers and take charge of courses of fire and safety procedures. |  |

To promote shooting in the UK, Magna is looking for new members. | Although strict in its policy of safe handling and correct range etiquette, Magna has always been and remains a "social" club. All members know and respect each other and maintain good relations within the club. We have also been invited to participate with other clubs in inter-club competitions as well as shooting with some of the more renown military personnel; namely the "Ghurkas".

The club carries on as always. Good natured and always ready to experience different forms of shooting . Currently the club is looking for new members and running shoots for gallery rifle, full and small bore rifles and black powder pistols.
